Family business specialising in expert shoe fitting and excellent customer service. Started in 1926 as a specialist in mens and ladies shoes it has developed over the years to become one of Ballymena's key shopping destinations. Now boasting a children's, ladies fashions and gift departments as well as a restaurant and much more it really has something for everyone.

Shoes, Leather & Fashion: From exclusive designer shoes with names like Gabor and Peter Kaiser, women at McKillens have never had so many choices. The blend of style and expert fitting including wide and narrow feet make the Ladies department a favourite across the province.

And its not just shoes! Our fashion department is equally well stocked with all the top brands and with a selection of hats and beautiful leather handbags there is everything a lady could wish for!

Our Mens department has been at the heart of our business for 80 years, with some of our staff having over 50 years experience fitting mens shoes in McKillens. Quality brands like Barkers abd Church are still sought after over the years, yet we provide a range of younger fashion brands including BASE from London.

Childrens: From first shoes to school shoes to running shoes, McKillens Kidstore is a favourite for Mothers and Kids alike. Many of the staff have over 15 years experience fitting childrens feet and are members of the Society of shoefitters, having completed specialist training for fitting problem feet. The childrens department also takes in a stylish fashion area with designer childrens clothing from popular makes including LEGO.
